My 16th Driving Lesson

legend:
instructor 1 - the instructor who taught me the day before and most importantly, got my specs back for me..
instructor 2 - today's instructor. think he is instructor 1's good friend.
*instructor 1 has lots of good friends there i guess*


today's driving was super funny and crappy. firstly, i could not find my car coz i was at the wrong place. anyway is i remembered wrongly la. something strikes me then i know that i was at the wrong venue. dumb.

well. instructor 2 reminds me of 1 of the hong kong actors. he drove me to the carpark where the test will take place then he told me to start the engine coz i have not tried before. however, when changed over, i could not adjust the side mirrors coz THE ENGINE IS OFF. ... forgot about it again. wth. never take things for granted. haha. but then,the engine could not be started coz he had locked the steering wheel. majiam worse. coz i didnt know that the steering wheel can be locked. took me a few minutes to figure out which way to turn the key coz either way cant be done. then he told me that the steering wheel was locked. i stunned. how to unlock sia. anyway, that's an anti-theft way.

then so happened that instructor 2 and his student drove in. he saw us and gave a "thumbs up" when i was adjusting the side mirrors. then winded down the windows and asked me if i had gotten back my specs. so paiseh. then both of them started chatting. instructor 2 was saying, "eh? but she never wear her specs today lehx." so instructor 1 said, "she always has it with her in case." instructor 2 turned over to ask me why i didnt wear it. my reply was, "er. i only wear when raining." he stunned. hahahaha.

i started driving off when ready. after leaving the the carpark, instructor 2 slammed the dashboard for e-braking. i stunned but managed to brake, however, technique a bit wrong and not hard enough. it's good that i managed to brake coz im always not prepared for it. after some distance, he signalled for e-brake again. BUT i too stunned to react, only "huh?". jialat sia.

after turning at the bend, another e-braking time. i still stunned. didnt manage to stop. i was like 's***, what am i supposed to do??' well, too late so he said turn right in front. BUT i changed lane at the zig-zag line. hahaha. die. it didnt occur to me that i cant change lane there till he said "d-air~". i was like omg. i changed lane there sia! jialat. then he was saying, "aiyo, i dont want to hit anymore. my hand pain already. later 1 hand bigger than the other." 3 times i only succeeded half time. die die.

after leaving the school, he was saying "how good is it if there is a machine that will take note of the errors you all make. so next time we wouldnt need to sit here. maybe in the future. maybe 20 years down the road."

to test route 6 *if i didnt remember the order wrongly*: did some crazy things on the way. i was distracted by the car in front and turned into the wrong lane. basket. the driver misled me la. he changed lane without signalling then made me turned to the second lane instead of the first. later he was telling me some of the errors i had made. then the next moment after stopping at the traffic light, i didnt release the clutch enough till the accelerator went "ZOOOOOOOOOM". so he apologised "sorry, sorry. my fault, my fault. i shouldnt said so much just now" alamak, he's so humorous. i was so paiseh.

then the second time was at another traffic light. red light again. did not notice that i had changed to neutral gear. wth. when green light i couldnt move la. second car in the queue and the first car in front had left long ago. a slight slope so i thought that the engine stalled or something like that. i suspected i was in neutral gear but thinking that it could not be thus ignoring it till he was saying clutch-in. after moving off, he said, "sorry, sorry. my fault again. i didnt tell you." aiyo. make me so guilty. i only kept smiling. haha. why so dumb to be in neutral gear sia. so paiseh!

somewhere on the road at some point of time, think was somewhere at a slight slope, he told me to log in. "let me check whether did i get the correct one. but a bit late if get the wrong one now ah."

oh. once when making a right turn, think should be turning back to the school area, i inch the car forward, then a car suddenly appeared. lucky i managed to stop. instructor 2, "i almost lose my life. lucky you brake here. slightly forward and you know what will happen? i'll tell you what will happen. you will accelerate and release the clutch and then the engine will stall. so the car will stop in the middle of the junction." i was at gear 2 at that time.

after a trip at test route 6, i turned back into the school to stop at the kerb like what will happen during the test. didnt know that i right-turned into the wrong lane for the past few days for the test routes. aiyer. no one tells me about it. grr. forget that both lanes can make a right turn.

after leaving the kerb, he said to stop at the 'petrol kiosk' in front. wah. i turned into the wrong lane again but he adjusted the steering wheel for me. think it was still insufficient coz a bit like going straight into the kiosk with a slight turn away. so he was telling me about the errors and things to look out for. and just before that, i had accidentally turned on the wiper and he went, "woah, raining already."

when done, after checking the mirrors and blindspots, the same moving off process didnt work. the car rolled backwards. the weirdest thing was that the road is flat and it wasnt a slope. no matter how many times i started off, it just kept rolling down. i was saying "eh? why like that?" think my instructor also didnt know what when wrong also. oops. well. is he didnt notice ba. so happened that instructor 1's car came into the right lane and stopped at the stop line *i was at the left*. then my car started to move. at last. finally it was moving. BUT it rushed forward and i did not accelerate. know what had happened finally. guessed that the turn was insufficient that the car mounted the kerb. ... instructor 2 was saying, "that is instructor 1 in front." i was like, "is it?" dumb. i was looking at the drivier seat can??? instructor 1 was at the passenger seat la! of coz i cant see. wth. anyway, instructor 2 was saying, "eh eh, i dont want to die yet. i dont want to die yet." haha. when the car had finally stopped, he said, "must be you dont like the guy in front is it. or you dont like instructor 1. must be instructor 1 la. " aiyo. so paiseh again.

at the same spot again. e-braking time. i "eh?" coz dont know which pedals to step. haha. this is so bad. gonna fail if this continues. further down the circuit again. still e-braking. this time was better. the sound was quite loud. so instructor 2 turned to the back to see. my bag fell off the seat. best. he was saying, "everytime you hear something falls off ah, you know that it is a good braking." wow. that jerk was so power sia. my bag really *pengz* lo.

outside somewhere at ubi, at a red light, he was telling me that a student almost drove him up to the PIE. he immediately turned the steering wheel. so he was very attentive to cancelling the left signal at that road. lucky i went straight. haha. "you know you all cannot take this pie ah. if you want i can recommend you the one at pasir ris.." ...

back to school, one of the testers was walking on the road. he said, "overtake the tester." after i overtook him, he said, "but dont go too close to him la. later when he turn over and he will be shocked to you getting so close to him. you'' never know what will happen later. maybe he's taking you and he remembers you wanted to kill him.." joking with me again. haha. had left the tester quite some distance la. no worries. :P

he took me to the s and crank courses for low speed control. eh. he said i not bad seh. wahaha. that day i was being said that i dont know how to control the car. ... but then ah. a bit difficult ah. he kept asking me questions about the road in front. made me distracted. almost mount kerb. haha.

oh ya. somewhere inside the circuit at some point of time, i wanted to go straight but didnt notice the double white line. then instructor 2 suddenly turned the steering wheel to the right. "wah, i dont want to die lehx." hahaha. so sorry sia.

somewhere on the road at some point of time again, i was on the slope entering the filter lane, stopping at the pedestrain crossing coz there's cars in front la. when they moved off, i released the clutch then the brake to the accelerator thinking that i had reached the biting point. the car rolled backwards again. alamak. both of us immediately *zam* brake. i tried moving off again then the car behind kept a distance away i guessed coz instructor 2 was saying "see la, the car behind scared of you already. now he stay so far behind. you suddenly rolled down so much must have scare them." haha. i didnt mean to.

somewhere on another road, he told me to turn right. i mistook for the right turn at the junction ahead. alamak. so dumb can?? he was saying, "everytime he said right turn but the students sure turn at the junction. how should i describe the turn..?" i paused and mumbled "right turn" so he was saying "right turn right?" hahaha. that was 1 misleading route - test route 10. basket.

lesson finally ended. then i suddenly titled my head to the right after instructor 2 stopped the car. he jumped up thinking i fell asleep. he passed me the pda to log out. his left hand was holding the pda and right hand the stylus. when i was almost getting it, he suddenly said' "oops sorry." then he changed it the other way round. i was like "still the same la." so he said, "no. must respect the student ma. i used to write with my left hand then my mum whacked my hand so my handwriting now very ugly." *ey. not that bad la. still quite nice lo.*

i got off the car. he too got off. when i opened the back door, then he remembered, "oh ya huh, your bag. did anything drop out? did you zip your bag?" i was walking back with him so he was saying, "that is how we get so many numbers" while showing me his phone. hahaha. i checked for my phone coz my bag was a little unzip and wanted to call my mum. "ah. now you quickly check for yours." he ah. i've got nothing to say lo. i've never laugh throughout the lesson since the 2nd one coz that instructor was very funny too.

aiyo. why so dumb today sia??? super embarrassed la. wondered what he will say to instructor 1. haha. last lesson tomorrow before the major hurdle.
